Yupiit Piciryarait Cultural Center
This cultural center serves as a museum, library, and community event space celebrating Yup’ik and Athabaskan heritage. Exhibits include traditional tools, artwork, story knives, and handmade qaspeqs. It also hosts performances, workshops, and Bethel’s summer Saturday Market with locally made crafts.

First Mission House (Moravian Church)

Annual Events & Festivals

Kuskokwim 300 Sled Dog Race
A world-famous mid-distance race held every January, drawing top mushers from across Alaska. The 300-mile route follows the frozen Kuskokwim River. Festivities include fireworks, kids’ races, and checkpoint gatherings.

Cama-i Dance Festival

Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge
