How to Get to Soldotna, Alaska

From Anchorage, take the Seward Highway (AK-1) south for about 90 miles, then turn onto the Sterling Highway (AK-1) toward Soldotna. The total drive is about 2.5–3 hours and offers stunning views along Turnagain Arm, the Chugach Mountains, and the Kenai River.
- From Homer, follow the Sterling Highway north for about 2.5 hours (115 miles).
- From Seward, take the Seward Highway north to the Sterling Highway junction, then west to Soldotna (about 2.5 hours, 95 miles).
